Welcome to Max˛, LLC - an established precision
machine shop since 1999. Max˛ is part of the Maximum Mold Group of
companies which include:
David LaGrow, President, started the Maximum Mold
Group of companies on September 20, 1996 as a small polishing shop in Coloma, Michigan.
After many years of servicing the manufacturing trade he bought his first new
precision CNC machine in 2000. The business grew as a result and choose to transform
into a full-time precision machine shop. In 2015, Mr. LaGrow made his first
acquisition of assets from Michigan Mold in Coloma.
This acquisition complimented Maximum Mold and
turned into Max 2, LLC. In, 2017, Mr. LaGrow then purchased the assets of the
former Mach Mold, in Benton Harbor, Michigan. This acquisition was a strategic move
for LaGrow. The capabilities of sampling, glass encapsulation, 3D printing and
larger capacity EDM machines furthered our relationships with our companies so we
can continue to be a one-stop-shop for their needs. The Maximum Mold Group of
companies has purchased the assets of 38 year old Magnum Manufacturing in Westland,
Michigan to further solidify our customer relations and expand our services yet again.
Magnum Manufacturing will continue to focus on prototype tooling, plastic welding and
customer support.
The focus at the Maximum Mold Group of
companies is to reinvest in facilities, machinery and our employees to better serve
the tool and die trade to become a high-tech powerhouse for the manufacturing industry.
Here at Max 2, LLC, we specialize in CNC
lathe and Millwork. We complement our mills with 4th axis rotary tables.
Max˛, LLC utilizes the latest technology
in toolpath software and equipment to produce complex components for a variety of
industries including mold & die, blow molding, aerospace, and automation equipment.
